cancellation and rescheduling

If your cancellation or rescheduling is because you are having COVID-19, flu or cold symptoms or have been exposed, there will be no fee.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy.

As a sole practitioner, all of my income comes from my clients. When you cancel on short notice, I lose 1/3 of my income for that day (unlike a job where you get paid whether people show up or not). In addition, you are taking an appointment time away from someone else who could benefit from my care.

Therefore, if you are cancelling or rescheduling for something other than COVID-19, flu, or cold as noted above, the following fees apply:

if you cancel with 24 or more hours notice, no charge
if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice but by 8:00pm on the evening before your appointment, you will be charged 50% of your reserved time
if you cancel on the day of your appointment or after 8:00pm the evening before your appointment, you will be charged 100% of your reserved time
No-shows will be charged 100%. If you don't show up at all and don't notify me ahead of time, you will be charged your full session fee.

If your appointment is prepaid or reserved with a gift certificate, you will use or retain 50% or 100% of its value subject to the same policies outlined above.

Please give me as much notice as you can. Call or text me at 412-427-9047 anytime and leave a message. This gives me the greatest opportunity to put someone into your reserved appointment time. If I am able to put someone into your reserved time, I will not charge you.

finding me (can be tricky)

I am located in Lebanon Shops at 300 Mount Lebanon Boulevard, Suite 229B.

There is no external signage for Mt Lebo Massage until you get to the suite door.

Lebanon Shops is the long shopping plaza with Planet Fitness on one end and PNC Bank on the other end. The easiest way to find my office is to park in front of PNC Bank and then walk around the metal guard rail and up the one way driveway to get in behind the bank. From the corner of the building, you will pass 6 windows. The 7th thing is the first door that you come to. Enter through that door. The short entryway dead ends into a hallway. Take a right. Suite 229B is 3 doors down on the right.

arrival time

Please arrive either at your scheduled time or NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES EARLY. You will receive your full session time, but you will be at my office for about an extra 15 minutes. This allows time to go over your health history, your goals and preferences, undressing/dressing, self-care ideas, rebooking, etc.

intake form

Please fill out the online intake form I email you completely. It takes about 5 to 7 minutes. I especially want to know what your body does all day (occupation and activities), what areas are bothering you, any surgeries or injuries you've had, and any current conditions that may be affecting your health and comfort. This allows me to begin planning an effective session for you and gives me time to research conditions/issues if I need more information. That way, our face-to-face time can be very targeted and used to clarify goals, do orthopedic assessment tests, etc., rather than used for collecting basic information.

COVID-19 QUESTIONNAIRE

One day prior to your massage, please expect a text message requesting information about whether you are having any covid-type symptoms or have had any known covid exposure. Please cancel if the answer is yes -- to protect me, my other clients, and my income.
